It's been almost a year since I last updated my blog, but I have managed to complete some of my old projects, and start new ones. In the time since last September: I have completed my Pi5 cyber deck project from before The Rampocalypse and setup up an old phone as a simple Minecraft server. I also managed to refurbish an old ThinkPad and setup a mini PC with Linux, after it failed to support me at the ol' 9-5. These projects were a lot of fun, and taught me about aspects of computing and resource management I didn't know I needed to learn.
I actually still use the Pi for writing programs, and experimenting with server architecture, but it's more of a boredom task than a project at this point.
I have also started a few new projects in that time. I've opened a Kofi, gotten some light traction on eBay, and started uploading modded Minecraft gameplay to YouTube. I am also still working on getting an ESP32 I've got laying around setup as an mp3 player. The next completable on my list is actually an enchanting mod in Minecraft that provides some advancement in terms of QOL features when using the vanilla enchantments, while still requiring new more materials than the basic table.
